Legoland Water Park Dubai is the only waterpark in the Middle East built entirely for children aged two to twelve – and, in winter, the easiest family day in the city. Twenty slides and attractions scaled for small bodies, a wave pool, a lazy river where kids build their own Lego raft before floating it, and the Duplo splash zone for toddlers, all next door to Legoland Dubai in the Dubai Parks and Resorts complex at Jebel Ali. The water is heated, the shade is generous, and nothing here will frighten a five-year-old.
Season 2026/27: the whole of Dubai Parks and Resorts, including Legoland Water Park, was closed for the summer and reopens on 7 October 2026. Tickets for dates from the reopening are already on sale below.

What is there to do
The park is organised around the Build-A-Raft River: children pick soft Lego bricks at the start, build their own raft and float it down a lazy river past giant Lego sculptures. The Joker Soaker is the centrepiece play structure – a multi-level tower of small slides, water cannons and a 300-gallon bucket that tips every few minutes. The Wave Pool has gentle waves and a sandy-edged shallow end; the Twin Chasers and Splash Out are the racing slides for the older children; the Red Rush family raft ride takes the whole family down together.
For the youngest there is Duplo Splash Safari, a toddler zone with mini slides and sprayers, and the Imagination Station, where children build Lego dams and bridges in running water. Height rules are child-sized – most rides start at 90 cm or 1 metre, the big slides at 1.2 metres with an adult. Parents will not find a thrill slide here; that is the point. Allow four to five hours.

Tickets and prices
| Ticket | What you get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Water Park 1-day ticket | all slides and attractions, full day | AED 295 online (AED 330 at the gate) |
| Under 3 | free with ID | free |
| Legoland + Water Park (2-park) | theme park and water park on one day | from about AED 350 |
| Day pass + private transfer | water park ticket with private round-trip transfer from your hotel (via Tiqets) | see calendar below |
Legoland prices its tickets cheaper online a day in advance than at the gate. The Tiqets ticket below bundles the day pass with a private round-trip transfer – worth it because Dubai Parks is 45 minutes from Downtown and taxis back are scarce at closing time – with free cancellation until 48 hours before. Towels are for rent; lockers and food are extra. Legoland theme park access is not included in a water park ticket.
Combine with Legoland, Motiongate and Real Madrid World
The water park sits inside Dubai Parks and Resorts, alongside Legoland Dubai (the theme park, with Miniland and the driving school), Motiongate (the film-studio park with the region’s fastest roller coaster) and Real Madrid World. The classic family plan is Legoland in the morning and the water park after lunch on a two-park ticket; older children pair Motiongate with the water park. Riverland, the free-entry boulevard at the entrance, adds a bowling alley and racing simulators this season. The Outlet Village next door is where parents recover.
Opening hours and how to get there
Open daily 10:00–17:30 from 7 October 2026 (check the Legoland website for holiday hours). Dubai Parks and Resorts is on Sheikh Zayed Road at Jebel Ali, between Dubai and Abu Dhabi: 45 minutes from Downtown, 30 from Dubai Marina, 20 from Abu Dhabi’s border. There is no metro; bus 22 runs from Ibn Battuta station on the red line, or take a taxi (about AED 80–100 from the Marina) or the transfer bundled with the ticket. Parking is free.

Stay inside the parks
The Lapita Hotel, a Polynesian-themed Marriott Autograph resort, is inside Dubai Parks with its own lazy river and walking access to all parks; the Legoland Hotel Dubai opened at the Legoland gate with Lego-themed rooms and early park entry. Both work best as a two-night break from a base in Dubai Marina or JBR. Compare hotels around Dubai Parks on Booking.com.
